What's wrong with this picture?

This is not an election. This is a circus. Did I miss something? Are we no longer living in the twenty-first century? Cardboard boxes with names scribbled on them? And why is he holding the ballot up to the light? What could he possibly be looking for? Did the voter use a watermark to indicate who they wanted elected for governor? This is utterly ridiculous. Why don't we just let this guy --> decide our election? It would probably be about as accurate as what they're doing right now. While I think it's obvious that Dino Rossi has been rightfully elected our next governor, it looks as though King County is going to take that away from him, either through gross incompetence or outright fraud. I think the only way to resolve this that everyone will accept would be to have a special run-off election. And I'm not the only one who thinks so, either. Unfortunately, I doubt that will happen. If history truly does repeat itself, the election will be stolen and the rightful winner will roll over and take it, rather than fight it tooth & nail. And as long as that keeps happening, we're never going to have true election reform. Which is sad.
