Political: I'm sensing a pattern...

A Timeline:
November 1981
Citizens of Washington State vote to repeal the inheritance tax.

November 1993
Citizens of Washington State vote to limit state government spending sprees.

September 1995
Citizens of King County vote down a proposal to fund a new stadium with an increased sales tax.

October 1995
The Washington State legislator and the King County Council tell the citizens: "Screw you."

March 2005
Democratic lawmakers in Washington State try to agree on how to best tell the citizens: "Screw you."
You would think/hope that the citizens of this state would start to recognize a pattern here, and kick the rats out. Hah, isn't that a laugh.

*sigh*
