glaring oversights make Skor weep emerald tears

Below is a copy of a letter I sent to Bob Condotta, author of this article in today's Seattle Times about sports in Seattle.

Dear Mr. Condotta,

I read your article in today's paper regarding local sports, and I was sorely disappointed. Pretty much the entire article is spent with "Mariners this" or "Sonics that" with a passing mention of the Seahawks and only barely a nod to a few other Seattle sports teams in the online poll.

However, Seattle's winningest sports team didn't even get a passing mention. You completely overlooked the ORIGINAL "Storm," the Emerald City Storm, Seattle's prized WhirlyBall team that has won the national championship more years than the WNBA has even existed. I am holding out hope that you will learn more about this under appreciated bunch of athletes, and perhaps write a follow-up article.

Here is a good place to start your quest for knowledge about Seattle's most consistently winning sports team:

Thank you,
Skor Grimm
