New Rule

King Skor Decrees... New rule. No one is ever again allowed to make a rhyme using the word "poet" and the phrase "know it." Not in an attempt to be clever, not "by accident," not in casual conversation, not in emails, not on the radio, not in TV shows, and definitely not in advertisements. It isn't funny, it was never funny, and it's older than the great Oak of Hatherburg.

If you are caught making a rhyme using "poet" and "know it," the consequences will be severe and instant. Do you prefer your limbs in their mobile state? What about your hair, do you like it un-burned? Perhaps you enjoy having your chest 50,000 volts-free? If these are things that you value, just don't do it. If you ignore these warnings and do it anyway, you will get what's coming to you.

Thus decrees king Skor.

*bows* Yes your Majesty. I'll not use the word "poet", and all aware of it.

What about "poet" and "show it?"

My dad has a dandy little diddy that he likes to quote occasionally with that rhyme.

Or "poet" and "blow it." That has so many possibilities.

You think you'll be a poet,
but- like everything- you'll blow it.
